Do You Know Jesus?

I’d like for you to take a minute and really ask yourself this question. Do you know who He is just because you grew up in church your whole life? Or maybe you’ve recently started going to church in an effort to learn more about this Man that others around you keep speaking of? Maybe you’re reading this blog and, for the first time, you felt something on the inside punch you in the gut or give you this gnawing feeling? It’s one thing to know Him in a religious manner, but it’s everything to know Him in a relationship manner. Jesus is the only way to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. John 3:16 tells us that because God loved us all so very much, He sent His only Son to die a horrific death as payment for our sins and to bring us into a relationship with Him so that we now have the promise of everlasting life and can have access to all the blessings entitled to us as a child of the King. God has made this so very easy for us. We don’t have to do anything to earn His love. We just have to first acknowledge that we, in fact, have sinned and repent of those sins to the Lord. We then in faith must believe Jesus is real. We must believe He came to die for us to save us from our sins. We must openly declare that He is our Lord and He indeed did rise from the dead after the crucifixion! (Romans 3:23–26, 10:9) If you have any doubts in your heart concerning whether or not you have actually confessed your sins and accepted this free gift He gave just for you and believe in your heart that Jesus did indeed come, die, and is now alive through His resurrection, then you need to keep reading. You can’t afford to have any doubts. If you can’t pinpoint an exact time when that confession and prayer took place, then you need to make things right today! You need to have that “I know so” experience where moving forward, you are certain of your salvation and when it took place. This is where your FREEDOM begins ladies—through your intimate relationship with Jesus Christ! Say this prayer with me:

Dear Lord, I love you and I acknowledge that I am indeed a sinner. Please forgive me of all of my sins. I believe in You. I believe You came to earth and died just for me. I believe that on the third day, You arose out of that grave and are alive and seated next to my Heavenly Father. I desire to have a relationship with You. I desire to have You live and dwell on the inside of me, directing me at every turn. Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Change me, Lord. Make me more like You. Create in me a clean heart, one that is for Your service and Your honor. Thank you for loving me! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, I would love for you to let me know. Please fill out the form below. I want to celebrate your salvation with you and continue to pray for you on this new path of FREEDOM!
